Singin’ in the Rain takes us to the year 1927 when Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item in silent movies, but, behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! The “talking pictures” are taking Hollywood by storm, and Monumental Pictures has to keep up, but Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her.
